Know What You Like & How You Like It?
The Scientific Research
Shere Hite. Remember her name. In 1976, she performed in-depth research into female sexuality in the USA. In 2000, she updated this report with research from women in the UK & Commonwealth and called it “The New Hite Report: The revolutionary report on female sexuality”.
This report revealed that 39% of UK women masturbate daily and 47% of UK women masturbate once a week. Astonishing. And there’s the media thinking that it’s just men who are a bunch of masturbators…
Anyway, The Hite Report defines six types of female masturbation and only 11% of women claim to use more than one of these methods…

Facts & Tips
The original vibrator was invented in the 1880's by a British doctor. The medical profession would manually stimulate the genitals of a woman patient suffering from "hysteria" until she reached orgasm, which is known as "hysterical paroxysm". The first vibrator made their stimulation much easier!
Sex aids have been around for centuries. The Romans carved artificial penises from large wax candles. There is a Greek vase from the 5th century BC depicting a woman with a large dildo (a non-vibrating sex toy designed mainly for penetration) in her mouth, and a second penetrating her vagina.
If you're buying a battery operated model make sure you have spare batteries as they can run down relatively quickly and run out at a crucial moment!
