About This Season

For Spring Summer 2008, Myla has played with the elements of the 1960’s pin-up, using it as key inspiration for its latest collection. Think Gina Lollobrigida, Sophia Loren and Natalie Wood. The colour palette for the season is pretty and feminine, black and ivory are complimented by nude, antique shell, peach, blush, primrose and a bright punctuation of watermelon.

Creative Director, Franceska Luther, comments; “Again we continue our creative journey with contrasts of both colour and fabrics as an important statement. Flirtatious spots, girly frills and ruffles are key to the season printed on smooth sumptuous silk satin or sheer silk chiffon, alongside stunning geometric embroideries and contrasting guipure lace trims. Bows and ties are a key, adding a vintage flavour and a feminine edge. We have also introduced pretty cotton ranges to our portfolio to sit alongside our beautiful sleepwear which carries through the 60’s influences in our babydoll and tie side knicker ranges. Bust enhancing shapes continue as our plunge and balconette shapes which are complimented with a range of soft bras, hipster knickers and thongs.”

Introducing twelve stunning new ranges for SS08, we start with Violet, a design decorated with frills and polka dots, available in a full triangle bra and frill hipster in a colour combination of black/ivory . Continuing with the theme of frills and polka dots but adding the component of lace, we have the Coco range. Featuring a soft cup bra, tie-side thong, a cute cropped bed jacket and delicate babydoll. The Sybil tunic is the final new style echoing the spot print; with detailing of a lace inset at the shoulder and a tie-front bow.

For a more contemporary look we have Astrid, which features a sexy padded plunge bra, thong and hipster which appears in a dramatic contrast of ivory silk satin and black guipure lace. For a softer colour combination choose petal with an ivory trim. To complete the Astrid offering is a delicious silk satin camisole, short and chemise. Continuing in this theme we have Suki which is made from ultra soft nude mesh with black contrast trim decorated with pretty bows. Suki has a padded balconette bra, thong, skirted hipster, quarter cup bra and also a very cute tiered babydoll. Also available is Anya, which features abstract black embroidery overlaid on a soft nude mesh. This range includes a balconette bra, hipster, thong and camisole, all featuring a pretty bow trim. Finally we have Verity, a sexy combination of fragile Leaver lace and spot mesh in an underwire bra, thong and hipster and chemise in a pretty ivory or dramatic black.

For a girlie flirtatious mood, Myla offers Audrey, a soft striped mesh in primrose with contrasting black/ivory spot ribbon slot trim, available in a padded bra, thong, short and camisole. We continue this theme with Alice which is made from soft white broiderie spot cotton. The padded balconette bra, thong and skirted hipster feature pretty oyster satin bows. Alice is mirrored in the sleepwear range, with a babydoll, strapless camisole and short, as well as a cute bed jacket with sumptuous bow and matching pyjama pants. Continuing the delicate girlie theme we offer Ophelia, which is made from a delicate peach embroidered mesh with a silk satin trim, available in an u/w balconette, thong, camisole and short. Finally we have Lola, which is a striking set with geometric black embroidery and primrose ribbon slot trim, available in an underwire balconette, hipster, thong and suspender. A cheeky quarter cup and open knicker is also available.

For the classic black sexy boudoir range we present Renee. A divine tassel guipure embroidered trim, set against a striped tulle background. This range features a padded balconette bra, tie-side mini, thong, suspender and babydoll. Also available is a quarter cup and open knicker.

Myla continues this season with its successful signature Silk & Lace range. Sumptuous silk and fine leaver lace appear in a flirty combination, of ivory and black polka dots. This comprehensive range includes u/w bra, padded balconette, thong, French knicker and suspender. To complete this range, Myla offers a naughty quater cup and open knicker for the bedroom. The Nicole range also continues into SS08 in classic black and a new fresh colour plalette of Watermelon or Antique Shell. The beautiful Leavers ‘Fan’ Lace lined with a pretty nude mesh, features on balconnette and plunge bra, thong, hipster. In black and antique shell a matching suspender and basque is also available. And finally, Gina soft bra, tie side knicker and babydoll, appears in a luxury printed spot silk satin teamed with leavers lace in a colour combination of ivory with black spot.

NEW for SS08 is the Myla Bridal Collection, which consists of two stunning ranges perfect for any girls big day. Ella made from beautiful ivory silk satin and is beautifully decorated with silk chiffon frills. The padded plunge features frills on the strap and a pretty bow at the front, which is worn with coordinating skirted knickers or hipsters. Also available in this range is a quarter cup with a stunning frill neckline, a pretty thong and a stunning ivory silk satin corset. A matching chemise, baby doll and frill back tie side knicker is also available. The Fleur range is made from exquisite Guipure placement trim and embroidery and is trimmed with pleated mesh fringe. This range consists of a soft triangle bra, skirted hipster, quarter cup, open knicker and matching garter. A matching cute babydoll and long gown is also available.

Also, NEW for SS08 is the introduction of a DD cup into the Myla ranges. This new size will feature in selected styles only.
